Hamilton Hunting Safaris presents the first Augmented Reality (AR) Shot Placement mobile App for African plains & dangerous game.
Augmented Reality (AR) integrates “Real game” into your real world environment, by using your smart phone camera, pointing at whatever scene may be in front of you (garden/living room) and bringing real life pictures of the animals that is scaled to the actual size of the animal as it would appear at the selected hunting distance into your environment. The target will be displayed on your smart phones screen and a cross-hair will assist you in targeting the animal and aiming for their vital organs, on firing, a pop up will be displayed showing your success and where the vital organs are situated in relation to your shot. This is augmented reality hunting at its finest.

How to play the App.
1. "Click" on the shot placement button
2. Select one of the 5 rifles by "clicking" on the rifle
3. Select an animal - an tick mark will appear next to it. (You can select up to 8 animals)
4. Select the distance you would like to shoot the animals at. (4 different distances options)
5. The animals will be placed in your environment using your phones camera in a 360 degree radius around you.
6. Use the cross hair to target the animal and press the "Fire button"
7. Your aim is to hit the heart / Lungs or brain of the animal.
8. If you are successful in hitting the organ. The organs will light up.
9. If you are unsuccessful in hitting the organ a message will appear to this effect.
10. The imprint of the bullet will stay on the screen in order for you to see where your shot hit.
11. You could press the "show vital organ" toggle button to reveal the vital organs if youre not sure where they are situated.
12. When youre finished hunting or would like to select a different distance or animal press the "Back" button.
- Go back to the distance selection and select a different distance. (The animals you selected would still be selected.
- Go back to the select an animal screen. All previously selected animals will be unselected and you will have to select new ones.

How to take a Fun photo - (Screen shot)
1. To take a screenshot with your iPhone or iPod Touch, just press the Home and Sleep buttons at the same time.



2. Select one animal and take a shot at it with the fire button.
- The screen will frees with the animal in place

3. Press the close message button to close the "You have missed the shot"

4. Have your friends stand with the desired background.

5. Position them in the camera view of your phone and move forward / backwards / left or right to align the animal with them.
6. Press the "Home" and "Sleep" button at the same time.
7. A screen shot / Photo will be saved in your phones photo album.
